Eliana Manuel Pinho was born in 1970 in Ovar, lives in Porto and works in sculpture, drawing, collage and installation. The relationship between the body and the material world is an identity-building and resilient heritage – this idea permeates all of her artistic practice, where materiality is a guideline and gesture is raw material. Each work is a means of living and communicating experiences, discoveries, memories and reflections on the senses, perception and physical involvement.

Alun Kirby is a British artist living in Porto. He has been exploring memory through art for almost 10 years, collaborating with philosophers of memory and an exceptional group of people living with dementia. Alun uses cyanotypes, origami and textiles to show the importance of memory to individual, social and cultural identities.
