Porto Drawing Club

We established Porto Drawing Club to be a regular, open access, inclusive (bilingual, all levels of experience, all ages, all welcome) life-model drawing community.

Our first session was in April 2024. Since then we have worked with Mercado do  Bolhão

We are artist-led and work with professional and non-professional models. Each monthly session is held in a different location – an atelier, gallery, or community space for example. We also host Sunday sessions in our partner space at Vícios Bonfim. 

Our sessions are fun, social events, without pressure or judgment.

We are committed to

• working with a diverse community of models, representing all bodies, genders and identities.

• a socially-engaged approach which supports all groups, and is always LGBTQIA+ friendly

• donation-based sessions, supporting access for people with less financial capacity 

We are always open to new collaborations with venues, models and like-minded partners. All PDC information can be found via our LinkTree.

Our basis is the ethos of Lisbon Drawing Club, which is now in its fifth year and has held over 160 sessions. We are grateful for their support.
